Becky Coffin

Becky joined Heathrow in 2017 and is now Communities and Sustainability Director, leading the delivery of Heathrow 2.0, the airport’s sustainability strategy and overseeing Heathrow’s relationships with local stakeholders. Becky leads a team of issue experts and engagement professionals working across the business with all key stakeholder groups to deliver the airport’s ambitious commitments to the local community and environment.

Becky works closely with community, business and government stakeholders in the UK, Europe and internationally. Over the last 2 years Becky was responsible for overseeing Heathrow’s support to communities through the pandemic, including the creation of the Heathrow Local Recovery Plan – a unique local collaboration with partners to support sub-regional economic recovery. Becky represents Heathrow at community forums and key industry groups including Airports Council International Europe where she helped create a European-wide Sustainability Strategy for airports. She is a member of the Board of West London Business.

With over 20 years’ experience in corporate sustainability, Becky previously led global home improvement retailer Kingfisher’s ground-breaking sustainability strategy, Net Positive, where she worked with operating companies across Europe and Asia. As a consultant Becky advised FTSE 100 companies on sustainability and environment issues, including BMW, Sainsbury’s, Skanska, Balfour Beatty, Barclays and Nationwide Building Society.
